The OtiumGroup was created to provide Outdoor Adventure Retailers with access to mass market tools and technology solutions (Outdoor Shop Day, group purchasing, e-commerce, training, etc) enjoyed by the larger national chain stores, without compromising the independent spirit, expertise and individual attention that makes the Independent Outdoor Adventure shop unique.   Our goal is to help the independent outdoor retailer differentiate, compete, and win a new business in head-to-head battle versus the competition.

Protecting the Environment has special meaning at Otium and we work diligently to protect and enhance our natural resources and shared habitat – the Earth.

The Environment is central to Otium as a company - A healthy local and global environment, is vital to our business and to the communities where we operate. Otium strives to be a responsible steward of our natural resources and we strive to conduct business in ways that protect and preserve the environment.

To that end, we look to our employees, partners, and customers for help as we work together to find ways to encourage the sustainable use of our natural resources, the reduction of pollution, and the reestablishment of natural habitats.

Conservation
Otium is committed to protecting and enhancing our open-spaces. We are not interested in sitting back and watching others do the work. We take time to protect shared spaces for the enjoyment of others because that will ensure the success of our Enthusiasts, Customers, and Families.

The most significant work is done directly in our local communities. Each year we look to support local programs aimed at conservation and outdoor adventure recreation. We encourage you to support conservation in your region and contact us if you are aware of ways we can help.

The Next Generation
Otium understands the benefits received from a healthy, active, outdoor lifestyle. However, many young people growing up in the United States today have little or no access to nature due to lack of income, awareness, and skills. Otium is committed to providing the youth of today an opportunity to begin a lifelong love of the outdoors by supporting services that provide gear, instruction, and safe access to wilderness and outdoor adventure areas around the country, and the world.

We believe this not only ensures a strong future for outdoor adventure activities, but also helps to promote healthy active lifestyles for generations to come.
