Privacy Policy
The Otium Group, Inc. designs and integrates technology for private residences, hospitality venues, and workplaces in North Texas. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what we do with it.
We have kept it short on purpose.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us. There are two places to do that.
The contact form. Your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, and whatever you write in the message.
The careers form. Your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, your answers to our questions, and your résumé if you attach one.
We do not collect anything else. This site sets no cookies, runs no advertising trackers, and does not build a profile of you. We do not know who you are unless you tell us.
What we do with it
We read it and we respond to it. Contact form submissions go to our office inbox. Career submissions go to the same place and are reviewed by the people who would work with you.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing partners. We have never done this and have no plans to.
We use one outside service to deliver these messages — an email delivery provider that transmits the form to our inbox. It handles the message in transit and does not use it for anything else.
How long we keep it
Contact inquiries: twenty-four months, then deleted.
Résumés and career submissions: twelve months, then deleted, unless you are hired or you ask us to keep you on file longer.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner. We will.
Analytics
We measure how many people visit this site and which pages they read. This measurement is anonymous and cookieless — it does not identify you, does not follow you to other websites, and is not shared with advertisers.
Your choices
Write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form and no process. Send an email.
Depending on where you live, you may have formal rights under laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act or the California Consumer Privacy Act. We honor those requests regardless of where you live, because the honest answer is that we hold very little and deleting it is easy.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
Submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. Résumés are delivered as email attachments and are never written to public storage. Our site sends no visitor data to third parties beyond the email delivery described above.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.
