Motorized Shading
Shades that vanish into the architecture and move on their own schedule.
The Texas sun is relentless. Your shades should handle it before you notice.
We measure, specify, and install motorized shading for the most demanding openings in luxury construction — floor-to-ceiling glass walls, corner windows, patios, and outdoor living. Interior roller and drapery systems from Lutron and Rowley; exterior and specialty screens from Screen Innovations and Progressive Magnatrack that hold up to North Texas wind and heat. Every shade is choreographed with lighting and climate: lowering against western sun to protect furnishings and cut cooling loads, rising with the morning, closing at Goodnight.
And increasingly, our shading work is vertical. Downtown Dallas and Fort Worth high-rise residences and commercial floors live behind walls of west-facing glass — we design and install networked Lutron shading systems for condominiums, executive offices, restaurants, and full building floors: solar-tracking automation that manages heat and glare across an entire glass facade, centrally controlled, quietly beautiful. If your building has a sun problem, we consider that a design brief.

Common questions
Can motorized shades go into an existing home?
Yes — retrofits are common. But pockets and recesses designed on the blueprints disappear completely, which is why new-build shading is best specified at the plans stage.
How do the shades know when to move?
Astronomic-clock and sensor-driven schedules track the sun across your lot: lowering against western heat, rising with the morning, closing at Goodnight. You never think about it.
Do you do high-rise and commercial glass?
Increasingly, yes — networked Lutron shading for condominiums, executive offices, restaurants, and full building floors. If your building has a sun problem, we consider that a design brief.
